A Gift to Inspire More Giving

A-Gift-to-Inspire-More-Giving
The Founder of ABA Centers’ recent $55 million gift to Temple University continues to make headlines.

The gift makes Christopher Barnett the namesake of the now “Christopher M. Barnett College of Public Health,” but the timing of the gift for Mr. Barnett is no accident. It comes at a time when higher education and health research dollars are being cut – and he hopes that his giving will only inspire others to give more.

“My hope is that others that might have been sitting on the sidelines and waiting to determine when the right time for their support and their gift is, come off the sidelines and that we continue this momentum and we support Temple at a time when higher education really needs support,” Mr. Barnett said.
