ABA Centers of America Continues to Disrupt the Autism Care Industry with New Chief Marketing Officer

Joseph Heilner

ABA Centers of America, an organization designed to disrupt the autism care industry by demolishing traditional wait times, is doubling down on its efforts to bring autism care services to as many families as possible as quickly as possible with the hiring of its first Chief Marketing Officer, Joseph Heilner.

At ABA Centers of America, Mr. Heilner’s focus is architecting a full, scale-capable marketing & communications department. With a 50-person team now in place throughout the East Coast and spanning into Colombia, he is leading the way in positioning the organization as the best-in-class autism therapy provider and elevating the profile of the organization throughout all of its service markets, which includes, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey – with greater plans for expansion throughout 2023.

Mr. Heilner oversees the incredibly robust digital marketing operations that encompasses everything from Google ads, search engine optimization, organic and paid social media, and content creation; to artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies; a traditional marketing and creative team, conjoined forces that create all marketing materials needed within the company from brochures to in-clinic wall graphics; an events planning group that activates corporate, regional, and clinic-level events and conferences; sponsorships with professional sports teams across the footprint, and the public relations efforts for all earned media, influencer marketing, and partnerships.

“Our organization was designed to disrupt the autism therapy industry and provide relief to children that languish on waitlists for a diagnosis and then again for treatment,” said Christopher Barnett, CEO of ABA Centers of America. “We get kiddos the treatment they need with nearly no downtime, and we are able to do that by hiring the best of the best to bring our services to these children and their families. The immense expertise that Joseph brings to our organization will allow us to reach more families, more effectively.”

Mr. Heilner joins the Fort Lauderdale-based ABA Centers of America from Dallas, TX, where he was most recently the Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for GrowthPoint Strategy Advisors, an impact investment/ development finance firm with operations across more than 40 countries. He brings more than 20 years of executive-level business experience in marketing, digital transformation, international development, and strategy from start-ups to publicly traded multi-national companies, including PepsiCo, Dr. Pepper Snapple Group, Wingstop, GameStop, and General Mills.
